I have a couple of questions for those who take panoramic pictures.
1. With cameras now having 21 megapixels and photo stitch, do you need a camera like a hasselblad x-pan to take good pictures. 2. where do you get big panoramic pictur sizes like 11x30,x15x40, and 22.5x60 developed? 3. To take really good quality pics, do you need tripod heads like to manfrotto panoramic head? I don't remember what the number of the head is, just that it cost a lot. thanks for any help __________________

1, No, if you can take good scenic photo's with the camera you have then that is all you need.
2, Ask at your local photo print shop or search google. 3, A tripod helps a lot but is not a necessity. A five image panorama, hand held, manually stitched, taken with a D40x using the kit lens (a long way from being a hasselblad ) ![]() Cheers David |

I've taken some very nice panos in many locations where carrying a tripod was a pain. You can just note where you want to overlap the different exposures and turn at your hips holding your camera level. You'll get some nice photos after photo stitching. It's realy pretty easy.
