I have the Power account. I don't think you can "right click disable" with a standard account. This is one of the reasons I spent the extra money for a Power account.

jfranch, that's not the only reason I went with the Power account. I also wanted the ability to sell some pics from it (which if I'm correct a standard account can't do) and add my own domain name to make the page a little easier for others to find, etc. I shot a dirt track race one night, and I had people asking if I was going to be posting them on the web and selling them. I got the SmugMug account shortly thereafter.

As was stated before, if security is a concern, do not allow anything of any value to be viewed on the internet. Period. I would also seriously reconsider the business model of selling prints via online proofing. Much has been discussed on this topic in the Business and Wedding categories. If it works for you, then I'll be eating crow for dinner, again. |

Got it. Thought you meant you let other people (family/friends) eat them or give them to others.
Wish people here do the same as you are doing. There is so little fish in the sea here (from over-fishing) that they are getting really expensive. Edit: Sorry Charger (SD Chargers?) for hijacking your thread. |

Sorry, off topic, but...
I fish for freshwater bass, and a study of 30 years of tournament data indicates that while the average lunker size has declined (despite this past years record shattering creels), the actual creel weight has basically remained unchanged. The ocean fisheries is a whole other deal, and many would be very surprised to hear of the tactics used to feed the greed for fresh fish. A recent example of the drastic decline in numbers is the unimaginable population crash of Chinook on the west coast, primarily due to over harvest by commercial boats. Spawning runs that just ten years ago numbered in the millions, are now in the thousands - for the entire California coastline! Needless to say, California has closed fishing for Chinook, though I really cannot see how ceasing recreational angling will fix the problem. Keep putting up dams and dragging nets. Idiots. |
