I have to remove the camera information and and shoot infor. so I am removing the mata though copy paste.. I have created an action in photo shop and as i try to atch the action - it continues to save to over itself... thus I get no pictures from my file batched... It must be in the save as from the action - but I cannot figue what to differently. hlp I have a deadline.

Save As in an action is going to use the same filename over and over when batched since it's part of the Action.
Copy the entire shoot contents to a new folder, revise your Action to do a Save instead, then run the Batch on the copied files to all overwrite of themselves. Your originals will be safe and your edits will have their metadata removed. |

in the action -- as i re record it - when i press save - it goes to a save file.. with the -save in - i then choose a folder and have to give it a file name...press save it then goes to jpeg options -- i enter -and clse is that corect-- that is part of the action -- am i entering the batch info wrong?

Helen, I'm at work in a conference call and unable to help you on the phone.
I have no idea what application you're using. I'm assuming Photoshop from your Adobe comment but which one? Elements, CS2, CS3? Are you saving as PSD, JPG, save for web, or what? Incidentally, if I remember correctly, save for web strips metadata automatically. When you said it kept saving over itself, I assumed you had testing the metadata stripping to begin with. You might want to consider calling Adobe tech support and paying for a fast solution if you're on a deadline. __________________
