$2600 really? That is an awful lot! WOW. Perhaps you should take that money and invest it into marketing to a higher market? The reason is that the higher market will yield more quality brides, who actually want quality, and don't mind spending money for it (unlike lower income brides who are wanting the free scans)... Or at least that's my experience.
I should say I do still back stamp my prints (8x10 and under get stamped on the back with the special ink and stamp that says copyright, studio name, and phone number). It is bright blue ink. For larger prints (large than 8x10), I automatically mount those, so they get back signed by hand with a silver metallic pen that is acid free/archival quality. This has been enough for me... but then I may not know of copying going on... but I guess what I don't know doesn't hurt me... ?? |

To get back on topic - Try embedding the eurion constellation into images - it stops a large number of devices from copying / scanning. Virtually every color copier made in the last few years won't copy if it is present. Sometimes printing is even a problem. If you're artistic, you can hide the pattern - like the example of the bill with the musical notes. Steganography - EURion Constellation Wikipedia has a copy that you can easily use - EURion constellation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

Is that something you have done successfully and successfully tested? Perhaps that is something we should embed in our logos, and start putting logos on every print? Fascinating stuff! |

It won't stop everything (and clever students will find a way around it), but if you have a standard footer on prints, why not? Photoshop, etc use something a bit different for currency detection (digimarc created it), so you don't have to worry about "if I save this file with the additions, I can never open it again". Your scanner's driver may prevent i I found this app... need .ps input file, which is kind of lame. I should create a photoshop action for it. eurionize - add the eurion anti-copying mark - it is pretty subtle if you just use yellow. Printers, etc, look for this in the blue channel, so it can be rather subtle. __________________
