The sad thing is that, instead of debating on the points I mentioned, you chose to get offended that you were even questioned. You failed to provide any relevant facts or experience to the debate. And somehow I'm the bad guy for it.

Brian, I could debate with you all day, problem is you have to have the last word. Not just on this but everything. So go ahead, have the last word. I really don't care. And if you want to call me out and post a bio go right ahead but be careful, this is the internet after all and you really don't know who you are dealing with. Case in point, if you had read a little more you would know that my husband is a police officer. I never called you a bad guy, I asked why the hostility.

I know, which is why I didn't post more. I work with quite a few of them on the side. EDIT: and the reason I didn't post more isn't due to fear. Tossing that around as a threat isn't considered kosher in the LEO community. It is, however, considered very bad form to "out" an officer's family for fear of retribution while he's trying to do his job. For that, he has my respect.

Yes. I've worked with some rural agencies and departments for Internet and child porn cases. Nasty crap. Sadly, they wouldn't let me just shoot him when I started capturing the traffic.

Most of the folks, I went to High School with are now in some form of Law Enforcement, either "inside" or outside. Heck, I am contemplating joining the CHP, especially, since I only have until my next birthday to qualifiy! LOL

I've been bored with IT and considered joining the Phoenix PD. I'm still not totally decided on it yet. I figured I'm too out of shape to pass the physical requirements right now anyway so I'm back in the gym while I decide. I've got some friends there, both active and retired, and I've been told I'd be very welcome.

If you believe in Capitalism, let's let the market decide. As JFranco has stated, it really does seem some people here are getting a bit nervous and is using the Part-time pro (meaning, we charge money) photog as a economic scapegoat. Let's be somewhat careful in this narrow minded, generalization and discriminatory sense of scapegoating. I guess it is only human to hate or blame that is what is different from us, but it is also human to try to rise above the mistakes (or at least try) we have done in the past.

Absolutely, as many "third party" posters have pointed out, if you read the thread in its entirety, post by post, there are definitely things you can take and use!
