Those are amazing.
I recently saw a show on, I think it was the Sceince Channel, it was called "Time Warp". They were using one of the video cameras that took hundreds of thousands of FPS. The show was great.
They filmed a boxer hitting a pad that his trainer held, then they played it back in slo' mo. You could see the impact on the pad, then the way the impact rang thru the trainers hand / forearm / bicep / chest....WOW that was cool.
I have a "Windows Media Player" clip that is 48 sec. long, I wish I knew how to post it here. If someone knows how, PM me instructions OR your email address so you can post it. (It is VERY cool)

Cool.

Shame that you need a portable sun to properly light those 1/1 000 000th of a second exposure! :-D

According to the data sheet the 1,000,000 fps is at the amazingly high resolution of 128x8 pixels, at tv quality res its more like 15,000 fps.

still impressive but the 1 million fps is more marketing gimick than anything!
