Default Help or advice

I have a shoot tomorrow with 3 small kids, ages 3,1 and newborn. Anyone have suggestions on posing them together for me? The 3 yr old is pretty small? She may be able to hold the newborn but I'm thinking he may just shrink down and be a blob? Any ideas for me? thanks in advance!

I'm no child photographer, but I think it might be pretty hard to pose children this young together.

If you want them together, I'd consider putting a couple of toys on the floor and sit them down so they can play with the toys and forget you are there. Then while they play, get active and move around to get the images you want.

Just my very uninformed 0.02 on this subject.

Regards,

Peter

I am not a kid photographer myself. But I have taken a few. You have some young kids so most of what you shoot will be candids. Almost impossible to get those three ages to do what you want. But here are a couple:
Have all three lay on their back with their heads almost touching like a small circle. Shoot a head shot from above.
If the new born falls asleep don't fret. Have the three year old over him/her watching and then maybe a peck on the cheek.
Don't just take one shot. Set your camera for multiple. Like I said, Candids.
If a pose is a must. Have them lay flat on their stomach side to side.
Hope that helps.

Look for intimate opportunities and get in close4. Interaction with each other is always nice.
