Default Geotag Photos with Phototrackr Lite

Hi:

I just wanted to share my experience.......
As a hiker I have been very interested in options for geotaging my photos.
I am aware of software options to match my GPS track to my photos but I was looking for some automation.
I have purchased & finished my initial tests of an item called GiSTEQ Phototrackr Lite which is a GPS unit (small) with included software to automate the geotaging process.

I have published some demo photos on flickr

Flickr: Photos from wtbrox

Please note that these are not very interesting photos but simply a demonstration of the concept........

I tried right clicking and selecting 'Locate spot on map by GPS' and 'View EXIF/GPS information'. Neither option shows a result. Does it require a dedicated plugin?

When I click on the Flickr Link, there are a number of posted photos (demonstration photos) with names like GPS Test 2.........
At the bottom of each photo there is a small "map" link, if you click this a pop up map will appear. To my knowledge no plug ins or downloads are necessary.
I only have one geocoded photo on the smugmug site.
Hope this helps,

Thats an interesting product.
I was looking at using the gps function on my camera, but this may be easier.
How was your experience using it?

GPS in camera that is interesting!
The Phototrackr & bundled software worked as advertised.
It has been a fun experience.
I have had to work out a work flow using Lightroom.
Let me know if you need the details.

I've looked at several instances that offer info on it but have not (so far) found whether it would also feed data to a computer 'live'. Like we can with most everyday gps units.
Anyone have any idea whether it provides this function.

There was one that was bluetooth enabled for data transfer but if it is no more than a 'position logger' synched with time then the use it'll probably be put to most is tracking vehicles or teenagers or what not.

I mean aside from the photo angle
