Picture 1: SOOC - Manual, 1/125 sec, f2.5, ISO 1000, 50 mm.
Picture 2: Edit, bump up curve a bit, increase brightness and contrast a bit, sharpen, burn, add texture and ran some actions.
Picture 3: Edit - Manual, 1/200 sec, f2.5, ISO 1000, 50 mm.

Valuable links.

The Sunny 16 link doesn't work at the moment.

I've always thought that understanding this rule would put a novice on the right path to understanding exposure.
