Default EASTER SET

Hello Everyone, I am looking for ideas for a classic Easter / Spring Studio Scene. It will be my first one and I want a great conversation piece for repeat business. Any suggestions and examples are appreciated.

Easter is at the core of Christianity.
Spring is a season.
So what demographic are you going to aim at?

The photographer contracted to shoot Easter pictures at my grandson's pre-school opted not to bring a bunny this year since there was a possibility of allergies. I thought some of the mothers were going to lynch him. Perhaps the problem was that he did bring the rabbit last year and four year olds were looking forward to it. It could have been a can't win either way but I know sales were down.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a single Easter scene/conversation piece you can buy and please them all. Easter pictures are very dependant on the age of the subjects (baby is cute in basket, toddler holds basket or bunny, school age kid is embarassed by basket and would prefer the Watership Down look).

You are correct, Easter is the core of Christianity and the photography set I am looking for suggestions on, is a "Spring Theme set" thanks for asking and recognizing the reason for the holiday.

Thanks Doug for the info, I am aiming for a 7 months - 10 years old set. I am not familiar with the "Watership Down" look. Please explain or show me an example. I hate to be so naive, thanks again

Watership Down - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Watership Down is a novel/animated movie staring rabbits who are 'real' in the sense that their lives are not pretty and fluffy. Unknowing parents have taken their little children to the movie expecting bunnies and are horrified at the violence. The upper age of your interest group would love it. My mention of it was to suggest that older children (especially boys?) would be embarassed by the standard bunny picture but would accept a woodland scene with more of a PG13 look while their 3 year old siblings and moms might have a different view (or nightmare).

Of course your paying customers are the parents so it only makes a difference to the bottom line if the kids put up such a fuss about the event that it ruins the pictures. Photographers cater to the young and cute set and, later, to the environmental Senior Portrait crowd. Getting the average kid into the studio inbetween the two will require that great conversation piece you mentioned. I wonder if anyone is offering a Christian theme Easter picture set? The Passion might be a bit much for most but the Last Supper, Palm Sunday or the Empty Tomb could bring in a different crowd than the standard chick and bunny set.

I will let you know. I have found the perfect "Empty Tomb" garden spot locally at someones home. It is actually a natural spring that comes up into the mountain stoned "Tomb" and runs out into a makeshift creek the owners have created with natural flowers and dogwoods around the "Tomb". I am going to place a praying bench and a stone close by accented with blooming flowers and a cross in the background with a drape on it. That is my idea currently but driving down the road and saw the "Tomb" in the yard really got my ideas flowing. Will let you know how it turns out. I may post a photo of the tomb this weekend.
