Nikon offers a free App for the IPhone (android ?) called manualviewer. With it you can download and use nearly any Nikon manual on your IPhone , I pad or Ipod touch. It doesn't take up much space, is indexed and searchable. I may not often need them, but the manual is always with me!Handy and Free!

I downloaded the PDF manual for my Canon 7D from Canon (free download) and keep a copy on my desktop computer, my laptop computer, and my Android tablet. I also printed out a full A4 sized version and bound it for my shelf. The small manual stays in the camera backpack.
I never take the camera away from home without a manual. There are many features I don't use often so it is always good to know a copy of the manual is close by for reference. |

Why go through the trouble of a device limited app? Doesn't Nikon have a PDF version of their manuals like other manufacturers?
On the iPad I have mine saved in iBooks, but also have it on my Mac, PC, etc. |

FINALLY, an app I'd use. Now, if only I had a cell phone. *cough*

I like the very small amount of memory it uses to store nearly limitless manuals. I have the 3 I need with me anywhere if they are on the phone. Works for me, PDF may be more comfortable for others.

I also have the PDF's of the manuals I need on my Kindle and Kindle Fire.
I might look into this one for my phone, if they have it for android. __________________
