Currently using what I voted for. A 20D (1.6) and 5D (FF), though honestly I can live with just the 5D, but using both to avoid changing lenses often.

I actually find the 1.3x crop of the 1D Mark II to be quite nice.

I voted for “other” because I want a camera with a 1.0 plus an adjustable crop factor feature and an adjustable aspect ratio feature.

I have 2x crop factor (which isn't in the poll) on the Olympus E-1, and 1x crop factor on the 5D. Uninterestingly enough, I like both. The 2x is excellent on long lenses without suffering the physical length (e.g. a 450mm lens hand held " f/3.5), and the WA is useful on the 5D, though the vignetting can be significant wide open. I still believe that we're nowhere near a perfect FF solution in digital, but it's not as bad as I'd originally feared. FF has to be the future I feel so long as the sensors improve and make best use of current 'film era' lenses at all apertures, It's still early days...

While I'd love to be shooting full frame cameras, it's not cost effective (or intelligent) at the moment for me to do so.* I trade a stop of relative DOF with my 1.5x crop cameras, but a 400mm suddenly becomes adequate for most field sports, with a 600mm being gravy.* Eventually, I want to be using full frame, as I can always get a longer lens while it's not always easy to back-up for wider shots, but not right now.

Still, I voted for 1.0x, as I want my digital Nikon FM/FE cameras one day. An FF manual DSLR replacing my FM2 would go great with my 20mm f/2.8 and 105mm f/1.8. I actually wouldn't mind a 1.5x crop sensor, but I'd prefer to have the old fields of view back.

I agree, Jon. The crop factor just doesn't mean anything to me. I'm more interested in what's in my viewfinder. Then again, I have a FF sensor so I don't worry about "crop factor". When I had a 1.6 camera, I didn't do mental calculations to figure out what my field of view was in relation to a camera I wasn't using...I just took the pictures.
