Haven't yet...will be a 20D though unless something happens that will convince me otherwise and I don't really see that happening.* I guess it will all depend on if I do manage to get NPO status first and can get a camera company to use me as a tax write off and donate a camera and lenses.* *
* If Canon won't but Nikon will or Pentax will...that will be my first digital camera...if none of them donate, I'll be getting the 20D.Ooh...wait...I'm not buying it because it comes free with the phone plan my husband gets through work, but my phone I should get tomorrow or the next day will have a camera in it I think...does that count?* * ![]() Sara |

I can't remember the name of the first one. It had no display, used a non-rechargeable Lithium battery and it had less than360x480 pixels resolution. I think I bought it in 1997. The next camera was the Olympus C-1400, an SLR with 1280x 960 pixel resolution, possibly obtained by interpolations. My third camera was the Olympus C-900, also with 1280x960 pixel resolution. But C-900 pictures of the same electronic circuit board showed components more clearly than an identical picture taken with the C-1400 did.

Sony DSC-F505V - cost around £500 in 2001, and I sold it with extras just two days ago for around a fifth of the price
![]() Very quickly found it almost unusable in daylight due to not having a viewfinder - LCD screen was a painful way of framing. |

Mine was Canon Ixus 40 which I bought in 2003 (I think). I still love that little camera! Next one was Olympus C-765 UZ which is also very nice (although littlebit too slow for some fast action shots). And this summer I bought EOS 350D. In addition I have EOS 650 film body.

My first digital was a Fuji Finepix 4900Z closely followed by a Nikon 995. Next came a Fuji Finepix 602Z and finally a Nikon D70. I still have all 4 cameras for reasons that are even unknown to me. Could possibly be that the first 3 are not really worth anything much these days and given what I paid for them, if I was to sell them (if anyone wanted them that is) I would practically have to give them away. Goes against the grain a wee bit aye.

Kodak pre-easy share. Forgot the model #. Quickly learned to hate it and moved to Nikon coolpix, forgot the model number. Quickly hated that. Moved to Canon G2. Another bummer. Moved to Oly e-10. Sloooooow. Moved to Nikon D1x, then countless others.

My first digital camera was the Sony FD95 that used floppy disks to keep the pictures on and if you shot in the highest resolution then the disk would hold only 4 pics then you had to put in a new one.
