Here are a couple of things

Emailing the pictures should not be an issue

Why not use the Camel Gallery to display them

Change the time scale to one week if you can keep up with it

As more people join there will be more entries

As the weather improves or at least in the UK I will be able to participate a little more

Make the announcement a sticky and then make it normal after the event this way it will always be at the top of the page

Try doing some basic themes

Okay that's me done

Personally I think it is a good idea and Mr P you are doing a great job - keep it going and it will grow

That is good. A few have said something about it before, but it isn't much harder than posting one, depending how you post here.

The Camel Gallery has a smaller file size limit. The images would need to be purged for space. And how does that really help, if I have to link to them too?

It has and is this way. I think the issue that some raise is that it does not appear in the "show unread posts since last visit" every other day or so, and thus they don't see it. Lots of folks just read PhotoCamel through the "show unread posts since last visit" or "Show new replies to your posts" links at the top.

What is hard about One, and Two, and Reflection? We'll shoot for more basic....

I like the idea of posting critiques. I would be much more interested in entering if i could get some feedback.

There are a couple of reasons i haven't tried any of the competitions, yet. The main one is, it's still cold in SD and i am sick to death of brown and grey, and of trying to mock up decent lighting inside.

Another is, i haven't been able to get the gallery site to work under Safari, and it's not much fun if you can't see what everyone has submitted.

I've liked the themes, so far. They're general enough to generate a lot of artistic interpretation. Even though i don't enter, i'm always looking around, thinking of what kind of images i would want to produce. So, i'm growing a little bit in spite of not actually getting out and taking pictures. Someday, soon...

It's the Photo Share site that won't load. I get only a blank page. I haven'r really checked to see whether it's due to the way my settings are configured. I just want it to work...i'm kind of stubborn that way.

The site is also not displaying in Opera. To view it I switch to Firefox.

I have a question in to them about Opera and Safari. I do not think it is just that site that doesn't work correctly in those browsers, but I'm looking anyway.

I have been busy with life, family, college classes x 3, and work. I will be finished with the classes be the end of April, so should have plenty of time to enter after then.
