Hello everyone
I am a new member here. I like to think that I am a pretty good photographer, but after looking at some of the images posted here I see that I have a long way to go...I hope I can bring my ability up on par with everyone here. Gabriel Rivera |

Gabriel, you'll love it here.* I've met some really neat folks on here and all are very helpful.* I'm no pro and just a hobby photographer and I've never been made to feel embarrassed or anything by anyone here.
So, join right in.* Have you introduced yourself yet? You can do that HERE. |

Looks like something from war- of- the- worlds , you should clone in the top of a tripod looking down at them in the window ...

I have a rather interesting observation to offer. In viewing the photo's JUST from this contest, it is an exercise in excellence, there are more professional quality photo's in this one contest than I have witnessed in a year observing DPR. It appears there are more ACTUAL photographers on this forum and less TECHIES measuring equipment capabilities and consuming the mechanical attributes of hardware.
Brand loyalty is possibly the strangest phenomenon to befall the photography world. Speaking for myself, I over the years have owned and used at least 12 different brands of cameras as well as a variety of printers, film, scanners etc. and I have only one loyalty....that is to try to utilize whatever I have to it's greatest ability, including me. It is truly refreshing to view most of the photo's displayed here and observe the comaradery is see every day here instead of people carping and chipping away at some technical flaw in ones chosen instrument. Cheers! The Force |
