Well, the real contests are usually linked to a calendar entry which can be seen on the front page or via the 'calendar' button on the top of the page. If not (as is common with speed challenges), then it's usually specified in the initial post.

You should join in. The more entries the better in these things, and the more rewarding it is to be chosen as the 'winner'.

Its simple, you grab the dog and shadow and transplant into photo, erasing the excess. Same with Frisbee. Its getting so that almost everything is photoshopped<grin>

I got these in an email a few months ago , it looks like the first picture has had the ground cloned in between the spokes of the bike because it doesn't match the upper background .

The top of the cliff looks suspiciously like a flagstone patio. The dog and the bush are probably part of the same image but the background and sudden dropoff probably aren't.

You have to look carefully! Good spotting. Actually it is a very poor job of cloning at that.
