A SMILE - A picture that makes you happy. RESULTS

Well deserved! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have the honor to start a new friendly competition here at Photocamel!  A SMILE - A picture that makes you happy The smile has not to be necessarily into the exposure, but it must be on your mouth while you are watching at the picture! The smile could be like these ones:     I'm looking for a shot which is capable of provoking good sensations, pleasure, joy, wellness, happiness, ... Some very simple rules: [*]Free Subject: Portrait, Action/Sport, Nature, Street, ...[*]Post Processing: Color and B&W allowed.[*]Date of capture: I would like to see new and fresh pictures, specifically taken for this contest, but you can submit "archived" pictures too.[*]Number of pictures: 2 submissions for every Camel member[*]How to post the pictures: Unique Title, Exif data, Post processing workflow are requested and a short description of the story behind the picture is wellcome.[*]Duration: The contest starts on 25 Dec 2005 and closes after 3 weeks, on 15 Jan 2006. How about this?
 "2 Girls" 10D with Zuiko 135/4.5 macro. OK, this is an older one, but it's not incredibly old. There probably was no more than levels and USM applied to this. The aperture would have been f/4.5, the ISO 100, but I can't recall the shutter speed (fast enough for hand-held though). I'm not much of a street photographer, but this was one of the ones I've taken that I'm most fond of. |

I call this one "Rico--You're on litter patrol!" (*)
 Nikon D70s 28-200mm lens at 150 mm, f/8.0 Post processing was a touch of levels and a bit of contrast. Shot yesterday at the Big Family Christmas Gathering. -David (*) If you haven't seen the movie "Madagascar" this reference probably won't make much sense... |

"it's not polite. . . " Hi Everyone! Bear with me, first time to try to post. I took this snapshot of horses on Christmas Day afternoon. When I was sorting through them, I got a chuckle when I saw the expression of this horse. I guess she was tired of me always pointing my lens at her. Hope it brings you a smile too. |
