I had posted this previously in one of the galleries, but hopefully it's within the rules to repost here. It was taken quite recently, so does at least qualify on that score. It's a shot of one of my sons completely absorbed in the moment...

Workflow was some gentle tweaking of the contrast in PS, together with a touch of vignetting to help highlight the centre.

Exif data below. One thing I was pleased about with this one was that I'd switched off all the auto controls in an attempt to better understand the relatively new camera I was using.

Crazy "Ladies" at a May festival 2004. Stopped in a village in Derbyshire one Sunday. A weekend festival for well dressing was on.I wish I had video of this event.These " ladies" were fantastic. Still laugh whenever I see this photo.
