It's a bit late in the day, nevertheless I think it would have been a great help to have some guidance in how one should go about evaluating these images. I would have thought that some weight should be given to the degree that HDR enhanced the image, and the skill with which it was implemented. I certainly have no idea how to make such judgements when viewing only the final product, but in several instances I kept asking myself: was HDR really needed to produce this result? Bottom line, a very tough call to judge this contest.

Looking at some of them, I had the same thoughts. It would be great to see the original shots or sets of shots that were used to produce the final images, because the skill involved in some of these looks impressive. Hopefully, the entrants will post those in the HDR forum when all the voting is done.
