I didn't expect that with all the very good entries. Thanks so much. It was a fun shot, done with my back to a light pole with a 10mm focal length. The locals were wondering just what I was doing. LOL
I have wanted a Whibal card for some time now so this is a great prize. |

The entire set of all three sizes of Whibal cards arrived today. I have to say that this blows me away, they are nice. These will be used.
I just got back from a 7-days/6-nights under the stars, traveling and photographing through deserts and high woodlands and wish I had them to experiment with. I'll be taking the little neck card on my next journey and will try to get a promo shot or two for our kind sponsors. The bigger cards will make fine studio tools. There are many instances where I use the white dropper in the RAW conversion but don't have a perfect neutral target. Now that is going to be fixed. The funny thing is, I didn't even look at the prize as I figured I had no chance but when the votes started coming in, I did look and became excited over the useful white balance tools. Thank you for the opportunity. |

![]() as I said, there will be lots of experimentation. I shoot in all manner of light, not just a magic hour kind of guy. |

Wow - dramatic shot Glen. Really like the contrast between the fire and the red stone backdrop. I'm not too sure about what look like bags of crisps/chips in the background. In some ways it works in showing the impact of man on the landscape, but not sure if it's also a distraction?
