Not exactly scary, more on the cute side, but it is in keeping with what I do. Unfortunately it is not a new photo so it is taken with an older P/S camera. Every year, my PWC club has a Halloween Dog Walk with a costume contest, but this year it's late in October so I have no current photos.

Some of you may know what puzzle this is and some of you may not... But what has once been lost to man kind has been found yet again. Pray it is not opened...

In regards to Jon Foster's photos...
These are great! I love the lighting that you have in these. They look like they should be for a book cover.* How did you set up the lighting for these and what post processing did you use, if you do not mind sharing?* The costume and props the boy using look professional, and the boy's expression is perfect for these photos.* Also,* I checked out your gallery at Photo Bucket and saw your Renaissance photos.* These look very much like the Michigan festival.* You a Michigander? The Renaissance Festival pictures are from Michigan as well taken on Saturday during the Irish theme weekend. As for the shots, thanks! We weren't really happy with the way they turned out because most were blurred and the noise was just too much but hey, sometimes you get what you get right? The main lighting was rope light around the base of our deck. My son sat on a small cooler on the lawn in front of the rope lights (you can see them reflecting in the sword). I also had a red light bulb in a grow lamp on the deck that added the color to the shots. The cloak he's wearing is the real deal which he and mom made. The sword is real too, but it's only a replica of Napoleon's sword which is too delicate to do anything with other than use it in pictures. And the puzzle box is a quick home made job. It's a 3 x3 inch chunk of foam covered with gold foiled card stock run through a laser printer. The etchings on the box are exact 1:1 copies of the Lament configuration puzzle box used for the movie Hellraiser made in 1987. Jon. |
