A quick question, if you don't mind. What are your settings for the drop shadow. I keep trying the shadow technique w/ images I"m printing for display, but it never looks as nice as this one does. Share, if you don't mind. Thanks

Thanks, everyone. To answer the question above, the technique I used is explained in this thread:

Hills of Sedona

That thread has fallen to page two of the landscape board because the board has become so busy these days.

Basically, though, I used an HDR-like technique, working, however, from just one RAW image rather than separately exposed individual captures. It works reasonably well and probably will work better as cameras evolve and are able to capture more dynamic range natively. Anyway, I find that such an HDR technique is indispensible for landscape photos in high-contrast areas, since you have the opportunity then to adjust shadows without ruining highlights elsewhere.
