This is intense. I was aware of art that belonged to the "photorealistic" group, this is something else. Thanks for opening my eyes with this one, I always thought I wasn't that bad at drawing. Think again...

Amazing. Are you saying there was no photo underneath this painting? All those hairs were painted on a blank canvas with no tracing? Did you use corel Painter?

His image was on the cover of Air Brush International... It is not a digital painting. It was created via an air brush (not the digital kind but the type that uses an air compressor...)....

Much that I applaud the skill (having used real airbrushing myself about twenty years ago!!) would it not have been much easier and less time consuming to just photograph a real model?
