Nose to Nose
Not really a Nascar fan, but I worked at my uncles auto repair shop growing up, and raced circle track cars during the '85 season, so I've been around cars all my life.
This is my first attempt at a graphic shot of superspeedway cup cars. __________________

Dan,
It's all real, heavily PS'd. Dunno where the track is. It's a stock photo I've had for years. dog, It'll take more than PS to get Jr. up front. It's a shame too....he's always everyone's sentimental favorite. |

I got the print in today from BWC.
My jaw hit the floor. The Fuji Pearl paper gives the image depth...lots of it. Mounted it on artboard, which bears a striking similarity to WHCC's styrene. Could be the same materal. Artboard really isn't the right word I'd use for this substrate. Being entered in the SPPPA Print Competition tonight. Juried by 3-4 Master Photographers. I'll be on the panel, but I'm not allowed to score my own stuff. I'll let you know how it does. |

Image scored an 82 at the May SPPPA Print Competition.
Highest print score of the competition. They had some good pointers to bring the score up. I'll be reworking it for the TPPA Kerrville Competition in June. |
