Default Girl in forest

This picture has been put together using royalty free pics from the web. My sticking point was to put a girl into the picture. Painterly effect was done using a P/shop plug in.
Am I any good at this? Nah, but I sure do have fun. I am mostly in the Philippines, where anything larger than a cellphone is regarded as an oddity.
Kind regards;

Hi ed
The elements that you have composited into this image don't seem to tie together, it doesn't have a obvious narrative. Also their lighting isn't in keeping with the scenes ambient light. I think you need to start with a story or idea that you want to express and choose elements to tell that story.

Agree with minx above. Seems the light on the swans and ducklings and the bird and her are varied. And I have no idea what the bright area is supposed to be. Not sure why the person is posing because if I was her I'd wonder about the big bird off to my left with a fresh fish plucked from the water flying right ay me...

Compositing is good and can be fun and challenging like doing jigsaw puzzles, but you have to think about it and work at it. Not saying the one above stinks, but if you take the criticism and work at some more and learn and grow you will look back and this and say "Those folks were spot on, this was a decent beginning and I learned a lot since"

Played around a bit more and then when finished I realised there was no shadow behind girl onto seat, so I had to fix that.
On and on it goes.
Darn..another mistake in lower pic in water.
Oh well...back to the nut house.
Over to you.
