Had a new session with Anna E. Here is one image, where I placed her in the Stockholm Opera House where she seemed to fit in. Tried to get some illustrated look.

There are at least 3 main ways in Photoshop. Extract Filter, using a channel as a base for a layer mask, and Select Range, if the background is just one color ( bluescreen ) that is not featured in the subject. Then you need to change the color te,peratur so both images match ( like Photo Filter in PS ). Even glass can be extracted like this composite.

Boy I would love to see how you do that. I understand how you can use the select range with a solid background. I am not familiar how to use the extract on a channel

You read wrong =). You use a channel as the base of a layer mask. ( the channel that has the best contrast at the edges of the subject ).
