My wife and I foster kittens and cats for an SPCA. To date more than 250 of our animals have been adopted. Our job has been to keep them alive and to make good pets out of them so they can get adopted. Each has their own story but one in particular comes to mind. The kitten’s name was Matty and at 3 weeks old it became apparent that he had severe problems with balance and coordination and we were fearful that he would have to be put down. But no, the shelter had a program for special needs kittens such as Matty and with much effort he was adopted into the right household along with one of his brothers that he depended on. The first attached photo is one of Matty that I used to help get him adopted. It was meant to be an eye catcher. The second photo is of Matty on the left with his two brothers. He was adopted along with the kitten in the middle.Attachment 27015

Well, I can't just limit it to one. Here are our three shelter dogs - Hannah, Kenny and Gracie. Gracie (the class clown) is no longer with us, but Hannah and Kenny still rule our home.
