And I'm right behind Karen. Taking a break from editing and came to the Camel for a visit. I saw "Labs" and here I am!

I'm surrounded by friends and co-workers who all have one or more rescue story but yours really made me weep and laugh and how beautifully they have been photographed by you. Just by how you have captured them, I'm thinking your wife didna' have to twist your arm too much...

Default Wonderful posting and great group of dogs...

Really great photos of great dogs. Thanks for rescuing! We rescue Maltese and Doodles (Goldendoodles and Labradoodles).

When you and your wife reach the Golden Bridge you will have a group of wonderful dogs waiting to cross with you!

Thank you for sharing your heartwarming story and wonderful photos. At one point, my wife and I had 4 Golden Retrievers and a cat, but that was our fiscal limit! Please post more of your pics and story. You and your wife are truly to be honored.

Well Again Thank You All... What can I say, just love animals lol..

I won't go much into detail on Raw , but we feed them Nothing buy Raw Meats... Chicken Mostly, Necks, Quarters, even Feet... Beef, Hamburger, Beef Tongue, Kidney, and naturally Bones time to time... Fish... tripe ( Green not Processed, Goat , Turkey, Lamb, Rabbit, Pigs Feet... All can be bought at Slaughter House..Butcher , and in our case, some neighbors...

The Benefit of Raw is that Dogs are natural Meat eaters , just like the Wolf... They are Not meant to eat GRAIN... if you doubt that , check out your Poop Scooper lol... With Raw their stools are Small, turn white and crumble away, believe it or not, I seldom clean the yard.. Raw is also great for their coats...

They are all fed by weight... Example Chicken, Bosley will eat 1 leg, and one Quarter a Day... We feed them Once a Day in Morning , in the afternoon they get a treat, perhaps a Chicken, Duck, or Goose Egg... Maybe a Sardine , or their favorite , Peanut Butter...

Lot of info on Raw Diets on Web, we have been doing it for years, and love it..

As I said above , when we rescued Bosley, he could hardly walk... never ran, or could play with other Dogs... To this Day, I still believe the Raw Diet put him on the right track... You can't stop him now from running , playing or even swimming lol..

Bosley..

Hutch When we got him.....

Hutch just over TWO months later

The Pack ready for the Daily Afternoon Treats...

Call me Crazy, but I firmly believe a rescued Dog Knows where, and the situation that they came from... they make outstanding pets!

Grreat job on the rescues and the photos!

I just have one rescue dog, Aimee, my avatar. I found her on the road when she was just a 5# puppy. She's now a 65# air scent search and rescue dog. At first I thought she was part coyote but I got a dna test done. She's about 30% border collie, the rest is australian shepard, german shepard, akita and great pyreneese....
