Tribute To Our Pets

This thread is for those of us who have lost our beloved Pets and would like to share.
Even if you have posted the shot elsewhere, feel free to post it here! This will also be a permanent sticky.
Inspired by..You know who you are.

This is Patches. After a bath she jumped in Julians cage...

Chester, my 1/2 Welch Cob 1/2 Appaloosa. He and I trained each other. When he felt nervous he would always touch my left boot with his nose for reassurance.

this is Kina. Died last night we think from poison at 2. Way too soon. My wifes family takes in animals and Kina became the mom to all the pets. She took care of both the puppies and kittens

Sorry! I should have said! Julian was on top of his cage when she hopped in. I think she went in there because that was a 'safe zone' from baths. He was looking down at her as if to say, "What are YOU doing in my house?"

This is Fox, a mixed Chow. We rescued him off the road when he was a puppy. Someone tossed him out the window of a moving vehicle. He lived for 11 years. Of all the dogs we had at that time, he is the only one that would NEVER come inside the house.

Threw him out of a moving vehicle?? Why do people do such things?

I wonder if he refused to go into your house because he associated houses with cruelty?

It baffles my mind why people do that to animals. All I know now is that those of us enlightened folks are here to protect and love these creatures.
Yep, Fox was a very good watchdog. He and piglet palled around together.
