When I do a a bracketing shot I go one all the way to the left and then to all the way to right and then back to center
that should -1 and center +1 am I correct on this matter: If so then when I do a HDR all my bracketing show up as negative and no positives is this normal for HDR software : or is my camera doing something wrong : Lauren __________________

Should've asked this question in the HDR section.
But to answer your question When you want to do HDR you do not pan your compensation. If you are manually bracketing your shots then your composition remains the same and you would start from either side -2EV, O, +2EV here's a visual representation ![]() __________________
