Default Lenses for Minolta

I have a Minolta 7000i with the 28 - 70 mm lens. Can anyone please tell me whether any or all Minolta lenses (or other brands made for Minolta) will fit this camera? And, can anyone please tell me where I can find a telephoto (200 mm or better) lens for this camera at a really good price?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As far I know that there are other brands such as Sigma, Tamron lens also fits on Minolta. It has to be AF Mount lenses otherwise it wont fit/work.

Telephoto - I have one for sale its Sigma 60-200mm. Otherwise ebay is good place, or beside that second hand camera stores will have em.
Cheers

I agree with AlpineRaven2. As long as the lens is a Minolta AF mount, it should work, whether it's Minolta, KM, Sigma, Tamron... Ebay is one place to look for lenses, as well as local used shops. B&H Photo carries used and new equipment. KEH.com is another one. I bought a 70-210 Minolta lens for well less than $200 off ebay. It's in great shape.

Welcome to PhotoCamel!
