Default Opteka 650-1300mm

The Opteka 650-2600mm high definition super telephoto zoom lens (650-1300mm & 2x multiplier) is perfect for the professional and amateur photographer alike. There is a built-in, rotating tripod mount for easily attaching to your tripod or monopod. It's an extremely powerful telephoto zoom lens with the versatility that you need. This lens is great for the wildlife or nature photographer who wants to be hidden while taking photos of the subject. Advances in ultra high-index / low-dispersion optical glasses, new barrel materials, and exotic anti-reflection coatings, along with the latest in computer-aided-design / computer-aided-manufacturing, are combined to produce lenses of unprecedented quality. Diamond-cut from crystal-clear, water-white optical glass, Opteka lenses are ground and polished to a precise precision.
Seen this on amazon for 260.00 dollars, comes with a 2x multiplier.
Just wondered if anyone that used it could post a review . If there already is
one posted then kindly point me to it.
I know you get what you pay for,and if that saying don't apply to lenses then i
don't know where it would.

Babybars,

That sounds like some flack's blurb. If you wrote it and meant it, why the rest of your question?

BTW, I've seen it on eBay for less.

I would imagine that the image quality was not very good, as it only costs around £150 on ebay new. I wouldn't like to carry it around all day.
There was a buyers review who said that it is heavy, needing a tripod both for the camera and the lens. He did take some nice images of the moon though.
