I own a Z650 and want to do fine detail work, of up close things, like for instance i want to take pic's of snail egg casings, then when they all turn into hard shells and so on. These casing are really small, the size of a pencil eraser and i can't seen to focus on them without the AF flashing that i didn't have a good shot. The container is white and if i have a dark background or white background it's not allowing the fine up close detail i am looking for. Maybe it's cause the colors are the same? Anyone with this camera, give me a holler and show me some fine detail work and what your settings where etc. otherwise Kodak is going and i will hunt for a better brand of camera, seeing how most forums don't have a Kodak topic but Cannon seems to be the more popular one.
