B & H now has the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 for Minolta/Sony mount in stock. I ordered mine today and look forward to trying it out during a family trip to Bozeman, Montana over Christmas.

I am very satisfied with the Tamron 17-50. I have found it to be a lense of solid construction. It has almost become my only lens used. It is much sharper than my Tamron 28-300.
