Default Florida Camel help

Here is a strange request for my fellow Camel friends. We planned to be at Everglades National Park around the second or third week in March of this year but can’t find a place to stay. We have checked all the RV parks we know of (and that were listed on the internet) but they are all full of either snowbirds or spring breakers. Does anybody know of some secret squirrel place we could hang out for a couple of weeks that would accommodate a 40ft fifth wheel with full hook-ups and doesn’t mind pets?

Thanks for the quick response Flashpoint. That’s exactly what we are looking for but a lot closer to the National Park. As it is now we will probably be heading from the south side of Tampa to Lake Okeechobee (and skipping the park) if we can’t find anything closer to it. I guess we should have started planning earlier but I would have thought with two months out surely we could have found something. Yellowstone and Glacier wasn’t even this bad last year...

Thank you so much your help, I really mean that. That is awesome of you. This a little closer but still a little too far to drive (60 miles) to the park each day. I have checked most of the places available on line and was hoping somebody knew of some place that did not have a web page or had an inside connection. That sure looks like a nice place though...

No problem. I see what you mean.

The best person to tell you that information is someone who lives by there.
