I really liked Madden. Much better than some of the other casters and analysts.

Granted, McDaniels handled it poorly; he should have told Cutler immediately when there were trade offers made, and made it clear that the team was listening to them, not making them. Oh well... I'm sure the Raiders appreciate the spotlight being taken off them in the AFC West for a change.
Whos' the big winner here? Both the Bears and Broncos, IMO. Orton goes to a program he can excel in and the Bears get a fantastic QB...IF Cutler can grow up, shut up, and let his play do the talking. It'll be very interesting to see. But Denver becomes an immediate threat to San Diego

I pity the other teams. I really do. This lack of respect for The Greatest Sports Franchise Known to Man will come back and bite them in the ass.

I only wish the Cowboys had the Steelers on their schedule.

In the end, they will all bow down to The Star.....

Nice to see you again Rick. This is going to be fun. Any bet on how fast you drive someone to tears this year? I say about 2 more days (as I rub my hands together in Mr. Burns-like glee!).

Oh, now, you know how some folks get carried away when someone starts poking fun at their team. After all, I am only teasing them......

Well, actually, I admit that I am not. I can't help it. It is hard to be humble when your team is The Greatest Sports Franchise Known to Man.

And I can tell you this for sure. Some of the Steelers fans I was fighting with on here about the Steelers vs the Cardinals were about ready to have a heart attack during the last two minutes of the Super Bowl. I know they were thinking in the back of their minds, "How in the hell am I going to face that lunatic sonofbitch down there in Texas?"

I hope Kris comes back on here to play during the season. I just adore that little pumpkin. Her buttons are so easy to push.....

I can't wait until the season starts....

Tony is the consumate good guy. This year he did want to be traded and to a contender. Do not know about Atlanta. Best wishes to him.

He was the face of your organization, and for a long time. He is probably one of, if not the best TE in the history of the game.

Best wishes to him for sure.

Sorry for you, Mel, but happy for Tony. The Chiefs are a long way from being contenders right now and Tony deserves a shot. And Atlanta needs him as Crumpler's gone and Ryan can really utilize Gonzales. Will he get to a Super Bowl like he deserves in Atlanta? He's got a better shot there than with KC at this moment in time. The Chiefs will get good again, but they're starting from scratch right now and Gonzales just doesn't have that kind of time, he's already done that for the Chiefs.

Goodell just did the obligatory "The Detroit Lions are on the clock.... they select Matthew Stafford, quarterback..." routine. Stafford was met with quite a bit of booing.

In other news, Matt Cassell signed a 6-year, $36 million deal with the Chiefs.
