I think it depends on where you live. Here, they've always been reliable.

I've had better, more positive experiences with FedEx than with UPS...which I loathe.
Just last week, my attorney's office informed me they sent something regarding my deposition for my p/i case against a former employer. According to UPS, it was delivered to my address a week ago today. News to me; I saw nothing. About a year ago, I won a light stand on eBay, and it was delivered by UPS. The driver buzzed my apartment, and I spoke to him, saying I'd be down immediately. When I got to the front door, he was gone - and I was livid. I could share other stories about UPS but I think you get the idea: I refuse to use them, based on my experiences with them. IMO, Brown is best avoided. |

Fedex is the company that delivered my camera to the wrong place but wouldnt admit it. When I called it in, all the claims people kept telling me was "If this was correct, the driver could lose his job.". And they kept telling me that over and over. And Im like "And?". I feel bad the guy could lose his job, but maybe he should of been more careful in his delivery.

From my experience FedEx is useless. They delivered a package to my home which I didn't order.I took the package to their terminal-right around the corner-and told them to make a note that that resi-
dent didn't live at this address.A month and a half later, they deliver a larger package in the same persons name.I call customer service, tell them the situation.Driver shows up 2 hours later. Wrong division.Driver can't take package.I call again, getting correct # this time.Driver shows up late the following day.FedEx had put 2 addresses but one customer name on package. There was a contact number on the package.I asked the driver why customer wasn't contacted to verify correct delivery location. He said that happens all the time and information couldn't be trusted. A friend of mine worked for them and said this was a common occurence and they get claims all the times.UPS had never done me wrong. |

At least any issues ive had with UPS have been relativly minor, but I at least know what to expect. It either gets dropped off at my property managers office, or I have to go pick it up. Worst case, I have to wait for the truck. But at least I can say they never gave my package to someone else (who signed for it) at the wrong address.
Someone call Tom Hanks. Fed-ex needs some more training! __________________
