Fortunately for me, this was an easy thing.
One person moved out of town, and gave his shed to another guy. The recipient asked if I would help move it from point A to point B. It was a half mile, and it was already taken apart. It took me longer to get to and from my house to his and back. This time it was easy. Next time, I'll use your way Brian. ![]() Now, gotta get back to torturing our pumpkins. ![]() |

Joined Netflix this weekend.
I did it because my Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player supports Netflix streaming. I decided to try it out. Added the player to my wireless network, connected with the Internet, ran some updates that it found, and joined Netflix. I queued up some movies and started watching. It's a cool service. My only issue is that I have a relatively low bandwidth connection at 1MB due to being outside any fast service areas. It played but not at optimum resolution. It would probably be fine on a computer but not my 46" LED HD TV. ![]() |

Bought a PS3 simply to watch Bluray movies. Some movies are nice in bluray. The images are a lot crisper. However, some movies really dont need it. So I will still split what I buy as regular DVD vs bluray. Bought the GIJoe movie (I dont care what people say, I liked it.
) in bluray. The price was the same as regular dvd at walmart. (gotta love the prices on release week) |

If I ever get a Blu-Ray player, I might give that a try.
On a completely different topic, I sure can see how dual monitors would come in handy while trying to edit photos. Sheesh. Tabbing back and forth is for the birds. |

I've found that the player + TV combination makes a difference for Blu-Ray.
I rarely buy BR movies since I tested this with Iron Man in both standard and Blu-Ray DVD's on my current setup. The player "upscales" to give the best picture possible. Combined with the HDMI connections and some features on the TV, I really can't see that much of a difference. |

Well that was a couple of hours well spent.
I just preped the boat for the winter. Sta-bil in the gas, filled it up, and ran the engine to get the sta-bil in the line and the carb to reduce the chance of varnish. Pulled the plugs and drained the block so it won't crack when the water freezes on those rare cold nights. Disconnected the battery so it won't drain. Although it did start right up after sitting for three months. So I doubt that there's a drain on the battery. I'll charge the battery before I fire up the boat in March/April anyway. Probably change the oil in the spring too. ![]() |

Great, but not for the reasons you might think !! The 24" is big enuff to run the image editing, most of the time the other monitor sits there with the email program open, so I don't have to keep "Tab"-ing for emails !! YMMV........ On another note, 6.5 Billion people in the world and this makes sense to only one of them............ "What was lost is now found, what is found is now done" Austen. |

Two years ago, I let the shop do the winterizing.
They fogged the cylinders. I had to rebuild the carb that year. Last year, I did everything but fog the cylinders, and everything was a-okay. It worked for me last year, so I'm sticking wwith what works. So, no. I'm not going to fog the cylinders. Edit: I had to rebuild the carb when I tried to get the boat ready for the summer, after the shop had fogged the cylinders. |

Nice addition, Michael. I like your choice of reversing the colors scheme.
