The credit card daemons are after me, again...

The first lust was for the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II.. Then I saw the above combination, hehe..

LOL. The Oly daemon's already snagged my CC, but I don't think I would stretch to the Canon, Waleed (though I already have the lens, for now

). That camera has a big sticker price attached to it. Will be interesting to see examples and reviews.

And with me closing the studio, I have no business justification to make such a hefty investment.. I do have the 1Ds2 to practice my hobby now, but tell that to the daemons..

As for the lens, I'm after dramatic effects in portraits using shallow DOF that can be achieved with the f/1.2.. But how knows, I'm trying to reach that effect with the Canon EF 135mm f/2L, but the tests are not making me smile.. Not yet at least..

Chiming in late, been rather busy photographing & such

... ...which paid for the extensions in my signature

The EF85F1.2L (II) is the solemn reason for at least 2 professional photographers I know (shooting Nikon and MF/LF for 'the rest') to own a Canon system

...and as beautiful as-they-are, the 135F2.0 images will never look the same

...in the light of the G9 thread: you *could* also buy a 40D and 50F1.2L, to get a more portable (than 1DsMkII + 85F1.2L (II) ) set...

...just suggestions, you know they're just *my* €0.02 worth

After trying to achieve the shallow DOF I had in mind with the Canon EF 135mm f/2L and the TSE 90mm f/2.8, the daemons finally won...
