Default NFL 2016/2017 Season

Ah, it's late July and NFL fans know what that means...yup, training camps! It also means the regular season is just around the corner.

As such, please tell us about your team: The expectations, additions/subtractions, your rookie class, or any major changes such as a new head coach or a new QB.

As customary around here we will crown the Redskins as the off-season champions. Right, JD?

Best of luck to all teams (well, maybe not the Seahawks ).

Blaine Gabbert vs Colin Kaepernick 2016 feels sort of like Shaun Hill vs Alex Smith 2009. Neither of them looks like the answer.

Remember, going into the 2009 season, Alex Smith was entering his 5th NFL season and had thrown 31 picks and only 19 touchdowns.

Jim Harbaugh's staff somehow got the most out of Alex Smith and Andy Reid's Chiefs are reaping the rewards of his development, but Chip Kelly doesn't belong in the same paragraph as Jim Harbaugh.

If Kelly brings in his old guy Nick Foles, I'd have to think he wins the job like J.T. O'Sullivan "won" the job in 2008, but I doubt even Kelly still wants Nick Foles after he spent his last two seasons imploding.

If you come from Detroit, you're used to long seasons. Well maybe not long, but ones that don't end well at all. There are some decent looking teams, or ones that should be decent and then some that just look lost. All the talent that is available, and some of them have "that" as the roster? Makes you scratch your head. Some under perform because they know there is no need, and others skate by to keep their name somewhat relevant for trade or new deals. I'd like the entire season to be a tough and fought one, but there will be a lot of downs (that wasn't a football reference either). Sit back and enjoy...

Lookin at our first days of training camp, it's hard not to get excited. Offense did good last year, and people are putting in extra time to get better. The defense is impressive so far...

Here's to hoping it all translates on the field...

Looking at their schedule, I'm finding it hard to find 3 wins.

I think they win their season opener at home against the Rams, and maybe they can beat the Bucs and be 2-5 at their Week 8 Bye.

After that, who are they winning against? The Dolphins?
