The water is a river not sea, right.

My other favorite is a one that no Dutch know about, even though it's about 300 years old. And it specializes in a very Dutch steak (forgot the name, sorry). Ternudu? or something like that.

Oh man, my memory is not helping. I used to remember the names of the streets of Rotterdam.

In any case, that restaurant is so old that it doesn't have any decoration. The tables and everything is what it used to be then. Also, it used to be the favorite dinning place for students 300 years ago.

I've been to too many restaurants all over the place, but that one is certainly very special.

You have to check it out, Rense. It's worth the drive from Amsterdam (if you are in Amsterdam).

Language is a moving target, constantly evolving. As long as smart asses like me keep using "irregardless" (a combination of irrespective and regardless) to annoy others that don't think its a word, it will eventually become a word. Ain't is in there too.

And on the same subject, I note that we still have a spell checker available. But for reasons unkown the majority of posters are unwilling to change and make use of this facility.
