Sorry, while my most embarrassing moment is REALLY and TRULY completely innocent, I don't want to explain why it is funny to an 11 year old, I'll wait till she's older.

I'm never embaressed.... *cough*
But I can tell you a fun story about a computer tech I know who thought this was a bit on the embaressing side: OK, we call him Peter (his name is of course something else). Peter got called out to an office by a woman working in MS Word and she was having problems with some garbled text that showed up in the end of her documents after she had sent them to print. Peter shows up at the office and asks the kind lady to show him how the problem occurs, and he sees the lady open up a Word document, choose print from the menu and then *rattle rattle* in the printer and the lady leans over to the printer to grab the paper. She then leans back (with paper in hand) and looks at the screen and see's some garbled text at the bottom of the document. "There, see! That happens ALL the time!" she says. My friend Peter approached the printer, disconnected it, open it up, rattled around in it a bit, closed the lid and then lifted up the printer from the desk and moved it and the desk about 2 feet away and reconnedted the printer to her computer. Then he asked the lady to try again to print. The lady did open up the same document again, she choose print in the menu and "rattle rattle" the printer spat out a paper. The lady stood up and walked over to the printer and then sat down by the computer with paper in hand and looked at the screen. "Oh, look! There's no garbled text anymore! What on earth was the matter? How did you fix it??" My friend Peter studdered something about a magnetic field from the computer affecting the printer, so all he had to do was to move it away a bit from the computer, and that took care of the problem. The lady was happy and Peter left the office.... .... too fall down on the curb outside, almost dying of laughter. The fact was, the lady was "well equipped" and her bossom were touching the keyboard when she was reaching to grab the paper, still sitting on her chair, since she sat so close to the printer. And the body parts that was "poking out" did a fine job at adding odd letters and characters to the end of her word documents. My friend Peter just didn't have the heart to tell the lady why, so he made up that story about the magnetic field. I think it was cute anyway. |

That's funny, but just in case someone don't like it and takes away a karma like they did me, I'll give you one first. ![]() Joe __________________
