yo guys can someone pass on a message for me.

I’ve been banned from Dpreview for ages, my last post there was Nov 2004 as Ger Bee. I came back as Seven Days and lasted a few weeks. Then I came back with Phil’s blessing as myself and was driven off by the usual troll hunters. But I managed to take several with me, hee hee ehe.

However, I have not posted on the forum in recent times, the whole placed as changed but my legacy lives on, could someone post that it is not me, here.

And particularly for DJMichael, though if he comes over to Ireland I’ll certainly taka him up on his pint offer.

And for the record, since moving my main gear to Canon my business has expanded so much that I now employ two people and am purchasing three new Canon cameras and lenses.

Ironically, just yesterday, one of my new boys had the D100 and the 70~200 AFS/VR and he phoned me to say it stopped working, I told him to save the CF card and throw the thing in the river, he was covering a sculling event for Guinness Ireland.

He will shortly be equipped with a D5, 24~105 ƒ4 and the 70~200ƒ4 with 580EX.

In the professional game reliability is paramount.

I'm a canon user and most likely always will be. I've got a friend that is a Nikon user and most likely always will be.
You like what you like, and others like what they like. This is about PHOTOGRAPHY AND NOT ABOUT CUTTING DOWN OTHERS EQUIPMENT OR WHO MAKES THIER EQUIPMENT. It's about what we capture with our equipment, and how well we may learn to use it.
The link you tacked on for us to see at DP Review, is just the reason I left that site. That thread was just a lot of nothing and waisted time. That's not photograpy, that's just (some) but heads, that's two stupid to learn how to vent at home, and be pleasant with others. Should have not been started
As screwed up as that site has gotten, and for you to have gotten kicked off, well, need I say more.
I hated to even leave anything to this post but I wanted to make a point to our members and site masters. Please don't let this crap filter over on this ( so far ) great site.
