Now, in light of Aikn's statements about rape, is there any longer any doubt about the Republican War Against Women?

The idiot Tea Bagger, Ryan, is tied to this idiot. This crap will not go away. For the past several years now, anyone with a freakin' brain has seen what this War Against Women is all about. I don't care how any of you Tea Baggin' bastards sugar coat this, spin this, or bury your heads in the sand about this- this is what it is.

Rick, I'll see your rape and raise you two dead. Just yesterday or the day before MSN had a story about a woman who was refused cancer treatment drugs because they would kill the fetus. She died and so did the fetus but there was no abortion. Their logic on this escapes me but I guess they don't have to feel gulity about an abortion.

Had to go look this up... if it's the 16 year old you're talking about... that's just sad. But you are right, they can carry on knowing they didn't have to perform an abortion...

Not that I'd expect Rick to respond, but congrats on finding an idiot on this side of the fence... the difference is I see him as one person making an idiotic statement. Whereas you see him as a representative of an entire group of people...

And again... if you think things like free birth control, and free abortions are a worthwhile cause, then by all means.. use your money to pay for it.

Really? Do you know how easy it is to find quotes and "misquotes" (according to the Tea Baggers when they get busted on this shit), about abortion and women's rights?

The dude is not apologizing for what he said. He is simply apologizing for upsetting anyone. What this dickhead did is simply say what most right wing Republican nitwits believe. These guys are always misquoted or my words were taken out of context or the liberal media is out to get me, etc.....

Do you know how easy it is to find story after story about the Republican War Against Women? About their efforts to shut down Planned Parenthood. About their efforts to invade the privacy between a woman and her doctor. I can go on and on and on...... Look for yourself. The evidence is there. It is easy to find

And once again, it always comes down to money with you twits. You are too short sighted to understand the big picture. This is what tea baggers and the right wing believe- they are all against abortion because that is something that happens to those people. When they outlaw abortion, of course, it will have an impact only on the poor. Trust me, when rich, white Sally Mae gets pregnant, Daddy will simply send her to another country to have her abortion. You see, it is not about what is right, it is about the GOP simply taking care of the rich. I saw on another forum where someone called the GOP the Guardians of the Privileged, and what an apt name for this sorry, fanatical bunch of lunatics.

Here's the deal, make birth control and abortions available and in the long run you will save money. Wrap that tiny brain around that thought and see if you can figure out how that would work, okay?

You mean like Obama and Biden’s “misquotes”… the difference is Obama or Biden don’t say they mis-spoke, it’s your beloved media that jumped to their defense. Most recently Joe “They’ll put chains on ya’ll” Biden simply mis-spoke, and didn’t use racially tinged language when speaking to a group of black people in the south, you know how I know it wasn’t racially tinged… MSNBC told me so.

While Mitt “Take your hate and anger back to Chicago” Romney apparently was using racially tinged language… MSNBC told me that too…

Hmmm… lets see, chains or hate… which one is more racially tinged?

How about Barack “You didn’t build that” Obama… he was taken out of context, know how I know… CNN told me that as well…

But that’s not the media defending them, they’re just reporting the facts.

God forbid someone say something that upsets others… can’t have peoples feelings getting hurt now can we.

So far the only “War on women” I’ve seen is people not wanting to pay for abortions and birth control. I haven’t seen anyone wanting to relegate them back to the kitchen, or deny them the right to vote… deny them, you know, actual rights, not commodities that others have to pay for.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but around here we use money to make transactions. They don’t take chickens and seashells where I’m from. So money tends to be what it comes down too. Yes, I would like to keep my money, I did the work to earn it, I want the ability to decide where it goes. You’re wanting to take money from someone who may or may not be able to afford it. I don’t see the benefit of putting someone out on the street because you want us to pay for birth control.

That would be one of the benefits of working hard to earn the money, you have more choices. It’s not like women don’t have the choice to not have sex to begin with, and yes, men have that choice too…

“Fanatical bunch of lunatics”… that’s impressive coming from the likes of you.

You mean like welfare was supposed to simply help people get back on their feet, and not make them dependent on the government for the rest of their lives? How’s that workin for us… now that we have more people on welfare than ever before…

Like Social Security is supposed to pay for our retirements… yep, we just went inverted there. Now people are getting less than they paid in. Workin well I’d say…

It’s human nature, if there’s no negative consequences, and it feels good, then there’s no incentive to stop the activity, no matter how detrimental to our health it is…

How about we do this, just take out the middle man. You go to work, and the boss just sends your paycheck to the treasury and they’ll distribute it how they see fit… why take the small leaps. Just go all the way… I'm sure you wouldn't mind that since the government apparently knows the best ways to spend money, they've done well so far.

Or we can make everything free, that’ll save all kinds of money. No one would have to pay for anything…

Funny little tidbit, I can't seem to find where the government has given any money to the NRA? Why not? They'd save us money by keeping criminals out of jail... when can I look to have my gun paid for by the government.

Come on, the MSMedia isn't a left or right wing conspiracy - it is an entertainment industry. Sure MSNBC is slanted left and FOX is slanted right, but mostly they just want to make a big deal outta nothing for ratings.

All of these "gaffs" are just pols accidentally saying what they really think. Most are not a big deal but the media likes 'em because most of their viewers like 'em because it's easy to understand.

Yes of course what Joe said was racial but he was right, albeit exaggerating. The R&R admin policies would hurt the poor and middle class which is who he was talking to. While they might not end up literally in chains, they would be more economically enslaved.

And when Mitt said the poor are fine, honest people know what he meant was that they have a safety net, but it was fodder for the masses on the left.

But taking statements way "out of context" like Obama's “You didn’t build that” is very dishonest. Especially from someone that has said virtually the exact same thing in the past.

But I would agree that there is a lot of dishonesty in this campaign on both sides and it's sad. But that's what we have. There are too many Kardashian fans that actually vote and their minds are easily fooled by this crap so both sides are working it.

Throw all of that crap out, and there is a large difference between these two candidates and the parties in general. One thinks that government is important to society and that keeping our population safe from poor health and poverty is as important as keeping us safe from terrorists. The other side says I got mine, fuck the rest of you.

Welcome back, yeah... all it took was a Republican saying something about women. Nevermind all the Democrats that "misspoke"

While I agree that they want ratings, apparently their ratings are in the toilet... so I'm not sure why they keep it going.

I agree that it's the pols accidentally speaking what they think, my issue is with who the media defends and attacks. If they jumped on Biden, they same way they jumped on Akin... I'd be fine, but they don't, an they're consistent about it. The latest one was how Paul Ryan's exercise regimen was "extreme"... he does P90X, the normal 1 hour of vigorous activity a day that we've been told to do since elementary school. He apparently also has a family history of strokes or heart attacks he has to worry about... but then we have yet to hear about how extreme Obama's workout is. Hell we got plenty of pictures of him shirtless on a beach around last election...

Another example of what I disagree with. Biden wasn't fodder for anyone...

It's almost amusing how often something like this happens...

Understatement of the year...

I dunno about a large difference, I mean we've got Romneycare and Obamacare, neither one apparently like dogs....

This doesn't mean I support Romney at all... just pointing out the failure of the "news" stations...

We all know that taking something out of context is not the right thing to do. The other party tries to make something out of nothing. We know that just because you are sucessful you didn't do it by yourself. Many others contributied to that sucess.

I don't know where you think anyone has proposed free abortions. Federal funds have not been available for that for many, many years. I would think insurance companies would jump at the chance to provide birth control rather than pay for a woman to have a baby. It is much less expensive.

It would seem to me that Republicians would want insurance companies to cover 30 million additional people under ACA because it is a source of revenue for them. It will cost the federal government some money to help pay for low income people but that is still far less expensive that these same people going to the ER when they have a problem. The taxpayer pays for the ER trips in the long run which is far more expensive.

"War on Women". Well it's certainly a war on womens reproductive rights. I don't know what else you would call it when you restrict a womens right to do what she wants with her own body. The right wing is saying well what the rights of the fetus? Well the fetus should not have any rights at all unless it can live on it's own outside the mother (with proper medical care). Until then it is a part of the mother just like any other organ in her body. The far right wants to give person rights to something that may never develop into a human being. They are against birth control in any form, against abortion for any reason, and against sex education in the schools for childern. If you think differently you should read "Ryans Plan" and look up his voting record on the subject. Mit Romney has endorced this plan as have most of the Republician party. By the way if you have ever been inside a Morman church you would find a document writen by the church authorities that states that men must be dominiate over women. It, along with other rules are posted in EVERY Morman church.

Republicians nowdays seem to alway talking about the debt. The Republicians are not serious about bringing down the debt of they wouldn't be trying to find ways around the agreed upon cuts last summer and on top of it all Ryan wants to cut social programs and give the military budget another 200 billion per year on top of what they currently get.

Romney and Ryans plan would do nothing for the middle-class and poor in this country to help them get back to work and be productive taxpayer again. What it does do is funnel a lot more money to the already wealthy people in the country. An example of this is Ryans plan which does away with the Capital Gains tax which would allow those like Romney to pay little or no tax at all.
