Ok I am back for my bi monthly fix here ... i see it has gone off in many directions and is still going and going and going ... Lol

Anyway I just want to make one comment ... I would never ever vote for a candidate with Romney's background, opinions, personality and integrity or his stance on anything valid. He is thoroughly unqualified IMHO and its sad to think he is what the Republican party has to offer. What a shame a man like this could be President.

I realize I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but I feel this war machine and money in politics has to come to an end above all else.

Because the President is for it. If you are a Republician anything the President is for you must be against even if it was your idea to start with.

Thats is my thoughts also. It seems most people vote party line and hate the other sides opinion even though we all have that right as americans. I did not like Bush for what he did and stood for and not because he was a Republican. I don't care much for Obama either and for the same reasons. Ron Paul is just a nut case and may be kind of fun having as a president. No president gets everything they want anyways because of the way out politics are set up. Good thing in my book.

And thats EXACTLY the problem. The "If they are for it, I must be against it" mentality that politics has become. Its no longer what is best for the people, but what looks good in the polls.

Just like this thing called money. Why do people live on the streets and starve? Why dont we cure diseases anymore? Why have we seen exploration stall? Because of paper we put a worth on. There isnt a profit to be had in curing a disease or helping people, but there sure is one in masking the symptoms or exploiting them. Its too expensive to explore space or even our own oceans, but if we can find ways to exploit them for cash, we will.

Why is it that when we talk about the rich and elite we talk about bankers, lawyers & politicians and not farmers, nurses (who do most of the real work), soldiers and teachers? Pay should be based on your importance to society and not how well you move numbers around or be really good at lying and/or covering up the truth.

You have something against money? Other than that you feel like you don't make enough?

Money is important. I make a lot of money because I am good at my job. I use that money to support my kids and my wife. That is something that is very important.

If you don't feel like you make enough money, get a better job. If you feel bad for those that work minimum wage jobs, realize that there is a reason those people make what they make.

Yep, George, you are exactly right. The reason why those people make minimum wage is because they are too stupid, fat, too lazy, you know, too damn dumb to do any better. That must be the reason, right?

They are beneath you, right Georgie? They are there to serve you and those like you, right Georgie? There certainly could not be any type of concerted effort to keep them in those low paying, demoralizing jobs, right Georgie? It's not like you guys would do something like that, right?

Hey Rick your still around here You know I don't always see eye to eye with you but I do earn & like my money. As a matter of fact so does my wife & kids.
I may not like Romney or venture capitalist as a whole but I do believe in Capitalism.
