I still can't believe the Riders agreed to it. You can't blame all of Palmers past on receivers running the wrong direction.

Palmer really needs to get rid of his bad mojo or there are going to be some real upset Raiders fans.

Guys, how about we share (major) info that might affect the outcome of games but might slip unnoticed, or we forgot about. For example, and personally, I totally forgot that the Bears/Bucs game last week was played in London. Had I remembered that I might have picked differently. Or as Michael mentioned last week, T. Jackson was hurt so Clipboard Jesus is playing instead (Charlie Whitehurst). You don't have to, of course.

For the 9ers, Braylon Edwards will not be playing this week against the Browns.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford is limited in practice, with back-up Shaun Hill taking 100% of the first team snaps, and Stafford splitting second team with Drew Stanton.

I wouldn't count Shaun Hill out against the Broncos, though. He's not quite a legend on the level of Tim Tebow, but he is the self-proclaimed "UPS driver" QB who led the 49ers to some memorable wins.

Good info, Michael. I'll try to update the group with Stafford's status too (Twitter is great for that kind of thing).

Speaking of which, Michael. To this day I don't understand why the 9ers let Shaun Hill go. Really liked the guy. Do you have an idea why did they release him.

Yeah. Didn't watch the game (nor planning to), but that's a quite impressive win by the Jags. From what I understand, it was all Jags' defense, right?

My guess is that they didn't like how he failed after that fast start in 2009 under Singletary. Alex Smith was supposed to make the next step following that season after a strong finish once he reclaimed the starting job, and he has better physical talent than Hill.

The 49ers then traded Hill to Detroit, where he played well in relief of Stafford until he accumulated too many of his own injuries.

Of course, when Smith got hurt and they had to play David Carr against winless Carolina...

Oh man. Saw few snaps Carr took with the 9ers and I scratched my head as to why they had him as a backup. He has no business being a football player, let alone a QB.

Why the Giants have him as a backup to Eli is beyond me.

Sam Bradford is still doubtful for the Rams, not that it has really mattered much this season.
