Oh my goodness...poor piggie!
I just bought gas tonight. Had a little left in the tank...about a gallon and a half. Still, it cost me $38.00. Sara |

It wasn't Bush. Although that's what the media wants you to believe. And if you think it's bad, just imagine what it would be like had Kerry gotten in. At least 100 times worse.

Mike, Bush and CO. have taken this country to biggest deficit it has ever had. Which has led to us taking loans from China. Which has led to soaring steel prices, because China needs it, and well we owe them money, so better be nice to them. Send em the steel.

Since this is an OT thread and getting political, I'll put my voice in: I hate George Bush and everything he stands for, and I think he's very, very stupid as a man and as a president. This democrat bashing is ignorant, I believe. Republicans routinely say everything is the democrats' fault, no matter what. Well, I have news for you: The war in Iraq is not the democrats' fault. It is my view that Georg Bush is personally responsible for taking the lives of more people than anyone leader of the U.S. in my memory. Taking a shot at Clinton's sex life is just peurile.

Mike,
Even though Clinton was having fun with cigars, he was still doing his job instead of taking more vacation then any other president in the united States history. And you will notice I said Bush & CO. (company). With the year turning to 2000, because Clinton was on the ball, many terrorist attacks were foiled. Not so with this current government. No, this government blames it on everything else, except for themselves. " It was the knives on planes, no it was photography, no it's because of all the freedom we have in the United States." give me a break. Iraq, 100% Bush and Cheney, nothing to do with Clinton or democrats. They lied and lied and lied to get us in this war. And they are still lying. |

Political haiku
She misses Clinton; he says Bush has saved the land. Photocamel grins. --AlbertP Haiku: A Japanese poem composed of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables. Haiku often reflect on some aspect of nature. Seriously, dudes and dudesses: Whatever happened to the idealism in this U.s. of A. land? Used to be a place others looked up to, and with good reason. Now it's mired in shame and disgrace at having lied to the world and committed unspeakable atrocities that in any other place would be called terrorism. Remember this? Almost cut my hair It happened just the other day It was getting kind of long I could have said it was in my way But I didn't and I wonder why I feel like letting my freak flag fly And I feel like I owe it to someone Must be because I had the flu for Christmas And I'm not feeling up to par It increases my paranoia Like looking into a mirror and seeing a police car But I'm not giving in an inch to fear Cos I promised myself this year I feel like I owe it to someone Dudes and dudesses, we were once idealists, full of hope and love and working together for the future. Now we have people like Bush and Cheney saying "war," "kill them," "take them out," "they're out to get us," "there are people who hate us," "we must be constantly vigilant." These are old fart types with bitter lips and who have probably long since lost the ability or desire to have sex telling us that we should send our loved ones off to kill somebody. And Americans bought this barrel of sheet presumably because they got tired of the reruns of Law&Order and wanted to watch A WAR ON TEEVEE. Friend, these pukehead politicians in power now are THE ENEMY. They blatantly lied to us about why we went to war, and we sucked it down like thirsty camels. Maybe WE ARE THE ENEMY! God I miss the 60s. The hippies are now hypocrites. We have sadness ruling around the world. Pollution is okay. Billions of dollars to oil companies is okay. Big business trampling the rights of individuals is okay. Anything for a phucking buck is okay. This has got to stop. When I finally get myself together I'm gonna get down in some of that sweet summer weather I'm going to find a space inside to laugh Separate the wheat from the chaff Cos I feel like I owe it, yeah Said I feel like I owe it, yeah You know I feel---- like I owe it yeah to someone And the photographers? They should be among the most enlightened because they should have a chance to view the world through eyes that see more than the average person. But do they? Does anyone really care about anything other than themselves anymore, or even pretend to? Remember this? In an upstairs room in Blackpool By the side of a northern sea The army had my father And my mother was having me Military Madness was killing my country Solitary Sadness comes over me After the school was over and I moved To the other side I found a different country but I never Lost my pride Military Madness was killing the country Solitary sadness creeps over me And after the wars are over And the body count is finally filed I hope that The Man discovers What's driving the people wild Military madness is killing your country So much sadness, between you and me War, War, War, War, War, War |

I just walked around the corner to take this picture of the local gas station. A little bit earlier there were lines of cars flowing out of it. Not as much now though. But, look at the prices here in Athens. With wide spread panic of gas shortages on the horizon (because of the refinery lines being cut off that feed Georgia Gas). Everybody with any type of junker is out there getting gas. Crazy.
Who cares about the people dead or dieing in Mississippi and Lousiana, I NEED MY GAS!! |

I don't know where the bit about me becoming a moderator came from, so you don't have to worry about that. And though I have no idea what peurile means, it's probably not important enough for me to look it up. But Clinton's sex life is what his presidency was ALL about. Feel free to have my posts pulled. I wouldn't want them where only one group of people are allowed to say their opinion. Mike Mike |
