Not stressing it. But when you dont normally receive gifts, especially out of the blue, I tend to guess.

I looked up that book on the net and it's one I'd like to have ! Lucky you , enjoy it !

Seriously. This book rocks. From lighting setups, using lighting charts and then using photoshop to bring everything together. This book is amazing.

Actually, I found out that it was a goof. I called the shipping company, and some how, some way, they sent me a desk edition. Basically, its a book sent to college professors to see if they want to use this book in their class. There must of been some mix up when I was looking for information on University of Phoenix or something. (Its the ONLY thing I can think of). I asked if I should send it back, and they said since its a free copy, that I could keep it.

And oh man, if anyone is looking for a good book that is a-z about getting things right, get this book. Seriously. It starts off with how to calibrate your monitor then calibrating images to your camera. Then white balance and light meters, gray cards and such. And thats in the first couple pages. It moves on to lighting, then processing images in CS5 and light room. If I had known about this book, I would of wanted this book. It shows so many things you can do in photoshop, its crazy.

Is that with or without the CD-ROM? And is the author Lee Varis?
