I used the search feature but didn't get much luck on finding online printers. Can anyone reccommend a good printing service for quality canvas prints?

Welcome to the CAmel Mr. Insanepinoy! It's about time you showed up.
Try Mpix or Whitehouse Custom Color for general printing. I did some research and am about to try out Picture Salon for fine art printing, they do canvas. Check your PM's Chip |

Hey Chip, I received a message from someone interested in buying a print from me so I'm searching for some quality printing. Would you suggest a print on canvas? I've seen a few in the stores and they look great. It looks much better artisticly but I don't know much about printing...

Hey Randy... long time!
Give a look at the True Digital B&W Paper on MPIX, I've heard the Kodak Metallic is really nice too... Though I haven't used either of them yet they get great reviews around here. Check these threads... http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/....html#msg60854 http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/....html#msg69358 http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/....html#msg73605 http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/....html#msg14647 http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/....html#msg27182 Canvas is contrasty because it has a very white white and will still make a dense black... I'm not sure how the tonality of that particular shot would look on it. I think I would try either a high quality B&W paper or maybe a smooth fine art paper. I'm not saying don't try canvas... I just haven't seen a B&W digital on canvas before. Chip |
