I got an EOS M3, first introduced in 2014. I didn't get it new, but my aging 40D is getting long in the tooth and the shutter release is losing reliability. I have also gotten some complaints about the noise from mirror slap, especially when using the burst mode. My M3, not being a new camera, did not come with a camera strap and I really need one. I have tried twice with third-party straps, neither of which fit the camera loops well enough to be installed.

Was recently reading some Panasonic docs,
and one [or more ?] of their recent cameras
has a special feature for starfield focus via
AF. Don't recall the exact model ATM.

EDIT .... looked it up.

How em bare assing ! I own one ! The GX8.
If the sky ever clears, I'll check it out. Right
now we're digging out of our 3rd nor'easter
in a week. Messy messy.

Anywho, TWIMC Pany, calls it "Starlight AF".
Apparently I was reading my user manual ...
some of us do actually read that stuff
